Gaps in teeth

Gaps (also known as diastemas) can affect the aesthetics of your teeth. Spacing can occur for a variety of reasons- the natural set-up of your teeth, congenitally absent teeth, differently sized teeth etc. Orthodontic treatment is one solution to close spaces between teeth (please see the section titled ‘Crooked teeth’ for more information on orthodontics). Other solutions can include veneers and/or composite bonding. Please see below for more information:

Veneers

Please see the section about veneers in the ‘Stained and discoloured teeth’ menu. There is further information on veneers in the broken teeth section found in the ‘I’m in pain/discomfort’ menu.

Composite Bonding

Please see the section on composite bonding found in the ‘Stained and discoloured teeth’ menu.
